Could This Be a True Weight Loss Diet?

You don't need to be afraid of exercising because you will only have to do it a couple of times a week, for just 20 minutes at a time. There are skeptics that believe this program will not be effective because of this. It will work. Just because the workouts are shorter than one is used to, this does not mean they will not be very intense. It is well known that doing short workouts that are more intense is better for losing fat than long workouts that focus more on cardio. When you do exercise that is very intense, your metabolism remains at a high level, burning more fat off your body. If your body gets used to doing the exact same exercises every day, you won't get rid of your fat.

Build Your Lean Muscle Mass One other thing you need to do is build up your muscle mass. This way, you will be raising the level of your metabolism and will be able to lose fat even when you aren't exercising. I am sure you are blaming someone for you being overweight, and more than probably that person isn't you. It is always an external factor that isn't under our control that is the reason for our excess weight. Unfortunately, the truth is that we are always to blame we are overweight.

The situations in which overweight is due to a medical condition are so rare that they are like a blip on the radar. The majority of overweight people are fat because they choose to be. They know they can lose weight but they aren't willing to put in the effort and change their life. Change isn't easy and they know it. So they preferred to stay overweight and pack even more fat instead of getting to work on getting healthy and losing weight. Some popular choices overweight people use when explaining why they are overweight are a slow metabolism, bad genes, water retention, thyroid problems and even a mother that force fed them when they were little.

The truth is that most people are overweight because they overeat, eat only junk food and don't exercise. Those are the real reasons why most obese people are overweight. The good news is that you are in full control of each and every of those obesity causing factors. You choose daily what food you put in your mouth, how much you eat and if you exercise or not. No one else can make those choices for you. You have no reason to put the blame on something that happened in your past as long as you are doing it in the present. Your metabolism isn't slow, you don't have fat genes and you can't retain 20 pounds of excess water. It is all about the bad eating habits and the unhealthy lifestyle you indulge in. Change them and you won't be fat ever again. I promise you that.
