The Eat This, Not That Mentality

it tastes like Reese's cup I swear! Within my first 10 days, I noticed my energy was through the roof! I was expecting to have an energy crash within hours of taking it but it didn't happen. It gave me energy to power through all my workouts! I was impressed. Also, my hair and nails started to grow very fast. I really didn't care too much about that but I know a lot of women I told about it did care about that. I liked what it did for my skin because I always had weird skin due to my poor diet but that is gone now. I figured healthy things do wonders for the body! My best results were I was shrinking in the waistline a lot faster than before. I am now done 65 POUNDS!!! I always had trouble losing weight around my waist but things were def getting better! I now just get alternate shipments of the Chocolate to the green berry.

Alternative and Complementary treatments are finally getting some long overdue recognition. Senior citizens have been among the groups of people lobbying for non-traditional medical treatment of disease. One of those non-traditional methodologies is the use of herbal medicine. Among the herbs getting appropriate accolades these days is Cayenne. Most of us think of it as a hot pepper, added to soup and sauces for the tangy taste it offers. But Cayenne has a healing power that is now being studied in a variety of medical centers. Aryuvedic medicine has known of its curative power for centuries. Folklore describes its healing effects on heart attacks, open wounds, pain, hemorrhaging and digestion. And now medical science is adding its official stamp on the benefits of the herb with studies focusing on the therapeutic benefit of this hot pepper.

The active component of Cayenne is capsaicin. Do an Internet search on that word alone, and you will be amazed at the results. Clinical studies on Cayenne/capsaicin have found many medicinal benefits including antioxidant activity, cytotoxic action, inhibit some cancer cell growth, alleviate oral mucositis pain, treating psoriasis and pruritus, and other benefits. The great thing about Cayenne is its nutritional value as well as medicinal. This herb is used extensively in all kinds of culinary dishes. Seniors around the globe are beginning to add this herb to many dishes that do not call for it. The addition creates a delight for most palates! When used in combination with other herbs, it acts as a catalyst that increases the effectiveness of other herbs used in the same dishes.

The nutritional value of Cayenne comes from its very high source of Vitamins A and C, the complete B complexes, and its high levels of organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons it is good for the heart. Readers are encouraged to check further on the validity of information available on the Internet. Bibliographies offer a comprehensive resource on reports of studies. Readers are always encouraged to read the original source to avoid possible misrepresentation, even that offered in good faith. As always, this article is not intended to offer medical advice or to replace the need for all readers to consult their primary care physicians and specialists about their individual medical needs.
